These files can be uploaded via APPRo54G's Web interface. Web upgrades can be uploaded to any device with APPro54G software installed. With the same method you can also downgrade firmware to older version, however you should not install firmware older than one with introduced Planet/Edimax support.

Note: These upgrades are intended for older versions of APPro54G, that require presence of an APPro54G hardware module in the AP. Do not use these files on devices without an APPro54G hardware module.

Preinstall firmware

These files are intended for first installation on devices that do not have APPro54G firmware. Files can be uploaded via TFTP protocol to the AP devices. You MUST NOT use file that is not intended for a specific device type. Installing improper file can brick your AP! Preinstall files include TF firmware dated 06.11.2007.

Note: These preinstall files contain firmware that does not require presence of an APPro54G hardware module in the AP. Preinstall files for devices with APPro54G hardware module are moved to archive (see 'Other versions' link).

Recovery firmware

In case your AP device gets damaged, it's likely you will need to reinstall original firmware and remove a module in order to have your warranty claim processed. First step would be to uninstall firmware. Currently available software allows to recover original firmware in AirLive, Planet, and Planex devices. [more]
