APPro54G and APPro54G Client available as license-only firmware

APProSoftware.com announces availability of software-only licenses for our most popular software families - APPro54G and APPro54G Client firmware for Acces Points based on RTL 8186 chipset. This means that devices running APPro54G-series firmware do not require installation of any extra hardware module to operate.

Our firmware can be installed by users - when the procedure is performed according to provided instructions - on almost any device equipped with at least 16 MB of RAM and 2 MB of flash memory. Installation procedure does not require opening AP's casing, which is important in events of processing warranty claims. Another news is that in few days there will be a special version of APPro54G Client firmware that runs on devices with only 8 MB of RAM and 2 MB of flash memory. (i.e. Edimax 7206).

Before you install, please read carefully about installation procedure. If you do not have sufficient experience we strongly discourage installing this firmware, and instead recommend asking for help someone with more knowledge or local store specialized in Wi-Fi hardware.
