New APProSoftware.com webpage, e-mails, and mailings

We are with you for three years now. Our company's name is Alfanet, our primary product is the APPro software family, and our homepage and logo says 'online.pl'... Little confusing, isn't it? :-) So the decision was made, and we refreshed our company's image along with the web page and customer communication process. We are a company that provides Linux-based solutions for IT customers. APPro is our product that can be developed as solution for access points, and as application for professional users.

Dear Friends! on February 29th 2008 we are changing our name to APProSoftware.com!

We are also changing e-mail addresses. To communicate with us, use the address info@approsoftware.com.  

Small volume and sample unit purchase program

Alfanet sp. z o.o., the owner and creator of APPro software family, appointed Internauci.com as its worldwide APPro Software distributor. On Internauci's page you may place your Small Volume and Sample Unit orders. Available sets include 1, 6 or 10 hardware modules for APPro5000 or APPro54G, APPro54G printed manual, and free shipping. We also welcome distributor requests – more details below.

APPro5000 update in January

This month we plan to publish a major update to APPro5000 software. The features in the pipeline include:

• support for 2,4 GHz frequency range;
• madwifi driver v0.9.4;
• DMZ support;
• traffic filtering in TCP/IP Bridge mode;
• WPA/WPA2 encryption;
• improved support for Mikrotik devices;
• improved port forwarding;
• support for MultipleSSID feature;
• refreshed user interface.

Distributors wanted

APPro Software family enjoys well-earned respect on all markets where it's available. Commercial versions of our product are a foundation of nearly 3000 networks in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Free versions of APPro are installed on over 200 000 Access Points in over 7000 networks, on all continents (one probable exception is the Antarctica).

We seek new distributors worldwide.

We have software for today's most popular chipsets – RTL8181 and Atheros. There is a large group of users that have experience with earlier versions of our firmware – this makes it easier to adapt to new technologies. We also have detailed English guides for different hardware models (OvisLink/AirLive, Planet, Planex). We also translated the guides to Ukrainian, and we can add other languages, if necessary.

We can also make custom versions of APPro for specific hardware or client (network).
